About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop ECU calibration to optimize performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions
- Contribute to calibration development for industrial and marine applications throughout the product lifecycle
- Participate in the Value Creation Team’s planning, prioritization, and execution of development activities
- Contribute to technical decision-making, roadmap development, and long-term calibration strategies
- Use engine test benches/dynos and real-world testing environments for validation and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and testing teams to establish a complete system view
- Prepare technical reports showing progress and achieved results
- Own technical challenges and drive initiatives from concept through implementation
- Drive continuous improvements in processes, methods, and agile ways of working within the VCT
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in calibration
- Ideally experience with heavy duty diesel engines
- Technical degree or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with engine management software and understanding how calibration parameters affect system behaviour
- Understanding of how software functionality supports calibration and control strategies
- Hands-on experience with engine test benches/dynos
- Experience with data acquisition and analysis, validation, and troubleshooting
- Ability to collaborate with software, hardware, and testing teams
- Hands-on experience with engine control functions such as fuel management, torque control, and emissions
- Comfort working in engine test benches and real-world testing environments
- CV and any relevant certificates required in the application
- Willingness to undergo logical and personality tests if used in selection
- Background check may be required
