About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 10–12 quality assurance and testing specialists
- Build and develop a newly formed Quality Assurance organization
- Strengthen Quality Assurance capabilities and ways of working
- Drive testing strategies and increased test automation
- Improve configuration management and release management processes
- Identify improvement opportunities and implement practical, sustainable solutions
- Set priorities, remove obstacles, and ensure initiatives are implemented successfully
- Foster ownership, continuous learning, and professional growth
- Leverage team expertise to solve challenges and drive innovation
- Collaborate with software development, product management, and other stakeholders
- Support quality throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements and testing through release and operation
- Contribute to the management team and organizational development
- Balance strategic direction with operational involvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven leadership experience with a passion for developing and motivating people
- Ability to create engagement, accountability, and a strong team spirit
- Experience driving change and improving processes in a collaborative way
- Relevant technical background, preferably within Engineering or IT
- Master’s degree in Engineering or another relevant discipline, or corresponding work experience
- Experience within Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Test Management
- Strong communication skills in both English and Swedish
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and organizations
- Experience from the automotive industry is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of vehicle technology, automotive development, or the service market is a strong advantage
- Category C driving licence is a strong advantage
- Background check required
