About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Carry out servicing on heavy commercial vehicles
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Work within a health-and-safety-focused workshop environment
- Undertake continued development and training at Scania’s National Learning Academy
- Increase pay by gaining experience and developing skills
- Participate in the recruitment process, including a hiring-manager conversation and branch/workshop tour
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant qualifications or proven experience within HGV, LCV, car, agricultural, plant, military, or similar industries will be considered
- Experience as an HGV technician or transferable technician experience for moving into the HGV sector
- Ability to carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles
- Commitment to health and safety
- Willingness to undertake continued development and training
- Ability to work the stated late-shift pattern: Monday–Friday 14:30–23:00 plus alternate Saturdays 08:00–13:00
- Must be able to work on-site in Bridgwater, UK
