About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise managers on first-level employment law matters and prepare legal files in collaboration with the Employee Relations Specialist and the HR Director
- Lead and facilitate the Competency Management initiative for the assigned employee population, in collaboration with internal clients
- Manage job frameworks, conduct interviews, and support skills and career development
- Support managers in identifying employee development needs
- Contribute to the development of career paths and training modules
- Participate in the development of occupational health initiatives in collaboration with the occupational health team
- Support managers in monitoring cases related to continued employment and workplace accommodations
- Define the recruitment strategy for open positions in collaboration with the business stakeholder
- Ensure compliance with Group and site recruitment policies
- Lead the compensation process with managers, ensuring internal and external equity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources
- Significant experience in a similar role within an industrial environment
- Comfortable handling disciplinary matters
- Experience investigating disciplinary cases and conducting pre-disciplinary meetings through to notification of the sanction
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt your approach to all types of stakeholders
- Proactive and responsive
- Rigorous and well organized
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while ensuring a high standard of quality
- Full professional proficiency in spoken and written English is essential
