About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the technical responsible designer within Cab Product Follow Up
  • Secure product properties and quality throughout R&D milestones
  • Ensure products are correctly verified and documentation is ready before project introduction
  • Make technical decisions based on input from laboratories and responsible line designers
  • Produce CATIA CAD drawings for manufacturing and assembly of cab parts
  • Work with all types of cab parts except software and electronics
  • Participate actively in assignment and team planning
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and other cross-functional teams
  • Solve product changes related to improvements, quality improvements, and cost reduction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Education within mechanical design or similar
  • Experience from automotive and production is a merit
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new areas
  • Ability to balance design with quality, lead time, cost, and urgent customer requirements
  • Team-player mindset and ability to see the bigger picture while working with detailed solutions
  • Ability to work with CATIA for CAD drawings
  • Background check may be required
  • Logical and personality tests may be used as part of the selection process
