About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Pick and deliver correct parts to customers and Workshop on time
  • Pack parts and arrange delivery or pickup when necessary
  • Complete documentation accurately, including invoices, payment and official papers
  • Coordinate with the Workshop to ensure parts availability and compliance with packaging, service exchange and warranty parts procedures
  • Receive and inspect delivered packages and resolve discrepancies
  • Dispatch parts, verify dispatched parts against invoices, and ensure invoices are accurately completed and signed
  • Load and unload parts and place them in appropriate bin locations
  • Enter new bin locations into the bin register and submit them to the Parts Manager
  • Conduct daily cycle counts and immediately report discrepancies
  • Review parts movement and maintain required stock levels
  • Ensure outgoing goods documentation matches relevant documentation
  • Liaise with the Parts Sales person regarding orders and deliveries
  • Monitor stock, spare parts and inventory and organize stock takes
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the storeroom
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and safe working practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed Matric
  • Technical experience or qualification in Parts or similar would be advantageous
  • Previous experience in automotive industry/warehouse environment
  • Applicants must have been employed in their current role for a minimum of 1 year to apply
  • Ability to comply with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices
