About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure customer satisfaction through preventive maintenance tasks while learning the profession and developing skills for more complex maintenance and repairs.
- Support technicians with vehicle maintenance or repair.
- Guarantee correct stamping of work performed.
- Ensure process flow by communicating completed work.
- Implement improvement proposals.
- Check availability of tools and parts and retrieve them from the warehouse.
- Check maintenance information availability and search for information in the system.
- Apply work methods and perform visual vehicle inspections.
- Manage deviations and communicate them.
- Wash parts and components.
- Start and finalize work orders.
- Prepare vehicles or components.
- Perform maintenance.
- Clean the work area and return used tools.
- Communicate assignment completion to the workshop manager.
- Propose solutions and follow up on established improvement plans.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school, preparatory or technical degree completed.
- One year in a similar position.
- Diesel and/or gasoline mechanics.
- Knowledge of Scania products and services.
- Knowledge of DOS, DCS, SRS, SHE standards.
- Ability to comply with all safety standards in the workshop.
