About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform and review monthly accounting close processes
  • Prepare reconciliations and analyses of balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Analyze variances and ensure the integrity of accounting records
  • Prepare provisions, reclassifications, and accounting adjustments
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reporting to the U.S. headquarters
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, US GAAP, and IFRS
  • Perform analyses of inventory, costs, revenue, expenses, assets, and intercompany transactions
  • Support internal and external audits and internal control activities
  • Collaborate with Tax, Finance, Controllership, and other business functions
  • Identify opportunities to improve, standardize, and automate processes
  • Share knowledge and provide technical support for the team’s development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Intermediate English proficiency
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model in Curitiba, PR, with 3 days working from home and 2 days on-site
