About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Liaise with engineers to understand functionalities, specifications, and design requirements of humanoid joint actuators
- Produce comprehensive design solutions using 2D design/surface modeling or 3D design/solid modeling
- Produce working designs from engineering specifications for mechanical mechanisms, electrical systems, structures, and related components
- Calculate and define key features to meet required functional specifications
- Produce tools or parts lists, maintain work documentation, and record information as appropriate
- Perform additional duties assigned to support team and business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing an academic degree in an engineering field applicable to robotics, preferably humanoid robotics
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 must be maintained
- External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
- Self-starter who seeks opportunities to support engineers in their work
