About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead receiving operations across applicable shifts and projects
  • Ensure inbound materials are received, recorded, and put away safely, accurately, on time, and cost-effectively
  • Manage and develop Warehouse Receiving Team Lead(s), including performance oversight, staffing, and training
  • Own SAP receiving processes and controls, resolving backlogs, errors, and complex system issues
  • Plan and optimize labor, overtime, dock doors, equipment, staging areas, storage space, resources, and capacity
  • Oversee shipment verification, labeling, staging, put-away, inventory reconciliation, and resolution of shortages, overages, damages, discrepancies, and nonconforming materials
  • Manage receiving KPIs, reporting, operating reviews, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and risk escalation
  • Enforce safety, compliance, operational discipline, PPE requirements, OSHA and EHS expectations, equipment controls, and 5S practices
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Quality, Inventory Control, IT, carriers, suppliers, and other partners to improve material flow, SAP compliance, productivity, accuracy, dock utilization, and cost

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, operations management, or a related field; equivalent education and relevant experience may be considered
  • Leadership experience in warehouse receiving, logistics, materials management, supply chain, or a related manufacturing environment
  • Direct supervision experience of team leads or hourly employees
  • Strong knowledge of SAP receiving processes, including inbound deliveries, goods receipts, handling units, transfers, put-away, and inventory controls
  • Ability to manage staffing, capacity, equipment, productivity, service levels, and operating costs
  • Experience with KPI management, performance reporting, root-cause analysis, corrective action, Lean methods, and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of inventory accuracy, material flow, quality controls, warehouse safety, OSHA and EHS requirements, material-handling equipment, and 5S practices
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop employees, lead change, manage competing priorities, and balance safety, quality, service, inventory integrity, and cost
  • External applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment visa or other sponsorship
