About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Onsite HR Intern position supporting two facilities in Connecticut
- Support recruiting efforts for hourly positions, including scheduling, candidate communication, and interview coordination
- Assist employees with basic HR-related tasks and questions
- Perform filing, document organization, and record maintenance
- Build presentations and prepare materials for meetings and projects
- Track, update, and organize HR information
- Assist the HR team with special projects and other assigned duties
- Attend training sessions and workshops
- Prepare and present reports summarizing learning and contributions during the internship
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a degree or completed degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
- A “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required, including US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
