About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create project-level CAD designs for production tools, ensuring alignment with production, quality, and cost requirements
- Participate in tooling solution design reviews, project collaboration, and cross-functional working groups to drive implementation
- Optimize production concepts based on design-to-cost principles to balance quality, cost, and delivery
- Collaborate with tool manufacturing owners to assess manufacturability and align design concepts with manufacturing processes
- Support failure analysis, root cause identification, and problem-solving for design and manufacturing issues
- Maintain and update technical documentation, drawings, and design change records related to tooling design
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in materials, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 2 years of development experience in stamping tooling or the mechanical industry; outstanding 2025 or 2026 graduates may apply with relevant internship, research, or project experience and strong hands-on capability
- Knowledge of stamping processes, materials, heat treatment, coatings, machining, mechanical principles, and GD&T
- Familiarity with common problem-solving methods and tools
- Strong learning agility, proactivity, and innovation mindset
- Ability to adapt to project pace and cross-team collaboration
- English as a working language for daily technical communication, document review, and written communication
