About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create product designs
  • Develop 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software, particularly Creo Parametric
  • Assist in transforming ideas and concepts into functional product designs
  • Create engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical reports
  • Support basic testing, analyze results, and implement design improvements
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability
  • Identify and solve problems arising during the design or production stages
  • Ensure designs comply with company, safety, and industry standards
  • Assist production teams in resolving design-related issues during manufacturing
  • Complete assigned tasks and responsibilities as directed by the functional manager
  • Work independently while supporting and mentoring less-experienced colleagues
  • Analyze technical validations, document observations, define corrective actions, and provide technical guidance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA
  • Ability to interpret and create engineering drawings for various manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with tolerances and advanced GD&T
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and VBA
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong teamwork and willingness to collaborate with others
  • High attention to detail
