About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define project scope and prepare project requests and project charters
- Coordinate with manufacturing and Industrial Engineering to ensure readiness of tools, equipment, and processes according to project timelines
- Prepare project timelines aligned with customer timelines and execute them
- Adhere to PEP KPI targets for timelines, cost, and project management manhours booking
- Conduct risk analysis and monitoring; escalate delays, failures, and additional support requirements
- Work on VAVE/localization of VLS projects
- Participate in field visits with VLS teams to address VLS warranty complaints
- Participate in customer and supplier meetings and vehicle fitment trials
- Participate in failure analysis/RPA activities and provide inputs for resolution
- Ensure data confidentiality and data security
- Support cost-saving projects, analyze technical proposals, and change products when necessary
- Record lessons learned, discuss them with relevant teams, and apply them where possible
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate in mechanical / Automobile Engineering / MBA Project Management
- 6+ years of experience
- Knowledge in product development processes
- Knowledge in APQP processes
