About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee all finance-related matters for Corporate Real Estate Management (CREM) Asia Pacific
  • Serve as the primary finance point of contact for CREM across the Asia Pacific region
  • Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the regional real estate portfolio
  • Perform variance analysis and identify financial risks and opportunities
  • Recommend corrective actions to achieve financial targets
  • Prepare and deliver financial reports and management insights on regional real estate activities
  • Improve financial reporting processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency, transparency, and data quality
  • Develop and evaluate CAPEX and OPEX business cases for real estate projects
  • Monitor costs and project performance while ensuring compliance with global financial guidelines and strategic objectives
  • Provide financial support and analysis for leases, acquisitions, disposals, and other portfolio initiatives
  • Coordinate regional real estate risk management activities
  • Develop and enhance valuation methodologies and governance frameworks
  • Advise and partner with stakeholders on real estate transactions
  • Ensure alignment with IFRS and relevant local GAAP requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Management, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant professional experience may also be considered
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial real estate, including at least 3 years in a multinational company environment
  • Experience focused on commercial real estate transactions
  • Ability to operate effectively within a complex matrix organization and collaborate across functions and geographies
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting financial data, real estate portfolios, and contractual agreements
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders
