About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience of Distribution Center operations
- Manage and strategically develop logistics operations in the context of Operational Excellence
- Ramp up and define operational processes at the greenfield site with the logistics service provider
- Define KPIs and guide the logistics service provider in meeting contractual obligations
- Monitor and optimize internal and external organizational and process workflows
- Create initiatives and coordinate with the site manager and logistics service provider on operational process improvement projects
- Lead the team and set expectations for direct and indirect subordinates
- Ensure delivery capability, budget adherence, investments, and equipment management
- Monitor inventories, warehouse clean-up, and rework
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and the 3PL logistics provider to secure project support and resources
- Share best practices across departments, shifts, and the network
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed bachelor's degree or higher with demonstrated experience in a similar position
- Proven experience in a logistics leadership role
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a hands-on, proactive mindset
- Proven experience in setting up standards and implementing complex improvement projects
- Ability and willingness to build processes from scratch
- Solid understanding of end-to-end logistics processes, including inbound/outbound, picking, packaging, and inventory
- Experience managing logistics-related projects or operational expansions is a strong advantage
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to think strategically while managing operational details
- Fluent English and Polish (minimum B2), written and spoken
- Knowledge of German is a plus
- Strong can-do and solution-oriented mindset
