About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead employees and work as a team to optimize production performance within a department
  • Use expertise to increase operator and equipment efficiency and productivity while ensuring consistent quality standards
  • Troubleshoot equipment and assist with changeovers and setups
  • Coordinate daily and monthly preventative maintenance and work schedules
  • Set an example for quality and good housekeeping practices and assist operators
  • Maintain maintenance reports, incentive records, scrap records, SPC charts, and time and attendance/vacation schedules
  • Encourage continuous improvement through SPS activities and general problem-solving tools
  • Resolve conflicts, communicate openly, and drive production to meet organizational objectives
  • Adhere to and enforce company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping practices
  • Train and coach employees and provide feedback on performance, quality, and safety

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced production knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge of production processes, measurement, inspection, procedures, production planning and control
  • Experience in SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Extremely self-motivated and driven to achieve results
  • Ability to prioritize and make decisions
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
