About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead employees and work as a team to optimize production performance within the department
Use expertise to increase operator and equipment efficiency and productivity while ensuring consistent quality standards
Troubleshoot equipment and assist with changeovers and setups
Coordinate daily and monthly preventative maintenance and work schedules
Set an example for quality and good housekeeping practices and assist operators
Maintain maintenance reports, incentive and scrap records, SPC charts, and time and attendance/vacation scheduling
Encourage continuous improvement through SPS activities and general problem-solving tools
Resolve conflicts, communicate openly, and drive production to meet organizational objectives
Adhere to and enforce company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping practices
Train and coach employees and provide feedback on performance, quality, and safety

Requirements

What you’ll need

Advanced production knowledge and experience
Knowledge of production processes, measurement, inspection, procedures, production planning and control
Experience in SAP and Microsoft Office
Strong leadership and communication skills
Extremely self-motivated and driven to achieve results
Ability to prioritize and make decisions
High School Diploma or equivalent
