About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the plant Industrial Engineering function, overseeing daily operations, resource allocation, and performance delivery across PMO, IE, ME, and Lean teams
- Develop and drive industrial engineering plans supporting capacity planning, productivity improvement, cost optimization, and production process enhancement
- Lead key IE projects and improvement initiatives to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and improve shopfloor operational efficiency
- Drive lean manufacturing implementation, organizing waste identification, IE tools application, and continuous improvement activities
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other functions on cross-functional improvement projects
- Ensure project goals are achieved on schedule
- Establish and optimize IE standards, processes, and data analysis mechanisms
- Improve accuracy and consistency of labor, capacity, layout, and efficiency management
- Develop and manage team members, clarify responsibilities, strengthen professional capabilities, and improve team collaboration and execution
Requirements
What you’ll need- Full-time bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of industrial engineering experience
- At least 3 years of people management experience preferred
- Solid knowledge of core industrial engineering methodologies
- Ability to apply the eight wastes and seven IE techniques in shopfloor improvement
- Knowledge and practical application of lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Ability to implement lean projects and quantify improvement results
- Strong data analysis, process optimization, and project management capabilities
- Ability to independently drive cross-functional improvement projects
- Strong team management, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to drive execution effectively in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient English listening, speaking, reading, and writing
- Ability to conduct professional communication in cross-functional or cross-regional business settings
