About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead manufacturing process assessment, line readiness, pilot-run support, and production ramp-up during new product introduction to ensure smooth transition into mass production
- Drive capacity improvement in mass production by analyzing line bottlenecks and implementing solutions to improve production efficiency and resource utilization
- Resolve on-site issues related to process, efficiency, quality, and equipment coordination, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure effective closure
- Optimize manufacturing processes, labor standards, line layout, and work methods to continuously improve production stability and standardization
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects by applying lean manufacturing and industrial engineering methods to reduce waste, increase output, and improve cost performance
- Develop and maintain process documents, work instructions, capacity analyses, and improvement reports to ensure traceable and executable production processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hold a full-time bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation, Materials Processing, or a related engineering discipline
- Bring at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or industrial engineering within the mechanical manufacturing industry, with solid knowledge of NPI and mass production support processes
- Demonstrate proficiency in ME/IE methods and tools such as capacity analysis, time study, bottleneck improvement, line balancing, and layout optimization
- Show hands-on experience in implemented continuous improvement projects, with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and deliver measurable results independently
- Understand mechanical manufacturing processes, shopfloor management, and quality issue analysis methods, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve production abnormalities
- Possess strong cross-functional communication, data analysis, and project execution skills, with the ability to maintain delivery quality in a multi-tasking environment
- Use English as a working language for emails, meetings, technical document review, and report writing
