About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the day-to-day relationship with a portfolio of clients
- Build strong client relationships and support retention and renewals
- Act as the primary interface between clients and SchemeServe
- Take ownership of customer issues and drive them through to resolution
- Coordinate actions and involve the right people at the right time
- Investigate customer problems and work with internal teams on practical solutions
- Act as a senior escalation point for client concerns or complaints
- Monitor account health, risks, opportunities and customer-experience improvements
- Report successes, risks, account health and opportunities to the Chief of Wunderwriting
- Support long-term renewal negotiations and identify account-growth opportunities
- Keep CRM records and client communications accurate and up to date
- Support outward sales campaigns and platform demonstrations as needed
- Organise corporate entertainment events and client engagement opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in account management, client relationship management, customer success or a similar customer-facing role
- Genuine curiosity about technology and interest in understanding how software and systems work
- Comfort asking technical questions and working with technical teams; developer experience not required
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, solutions-focused mindset
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical people
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to track multiple workstreams
- Proactive and diligent approach; ability to work at pace and follow things through independently
- Experience working with software, technology platforms or SaaS products highly desirable
- Ability to build rapport and develop trusted, long-term client relationships
- Insurance/Insurtech industry experience is a major bonus
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
