About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform routine accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, accounting statements, financial reports, and accounts payable functions
  • Code invoices and vouchers with proper account distribution
  • Prepare and pay accounts payable invoices
  • Process stop payments and cash orders from the operations area
  • Maintain fixed asset and investment records
  • Send and receive wire transfers
  • Balance daily teller cash
  • Process teammember and corporate Visa reimbursements
  • Record month-end accruals and/or prepaid schedules
  • Complete daily Federal Reserve deposits and cash balancing; manage cash
  • Reconcile master money transactions and official checks
  • Participate in projects relating to teammember job functions
  • Maintain and reconcile credit union general ledger accounts
  • Provide backup support across tasks to maintain smooth daily operations and assist teammembers
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Less than 1 year of prior related experience required
  • Must comply with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements, including applicable BSA regulations
  • Must participate in E-Verify
