About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, motivate, and develop the internal production team in Berlin
Manage external production partners and freelancers across multiple locations
Plan and control capacity and throughput across internal and external resources
Establish quality and delivery standards, including for external partners
Identify opportunities for improvement in the production pipeline and implement them together with R&D and IT
Manage processes using Jira and Confluence
Track projects and communicate with clients and internal subject-matter experts through to completion
Work closely with Project Management, Sales, R&D, and IT to improve the production pipeline
Initially take over and stabilize the production network, then help shape its future development

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of leadership experience in industrial manufacturing, logistics, supply chain management, or operations
Experience managing multi-site or multi-supplier structures
Confident in capacity and throughput planning across heterogeneous resource pools
Experience establishing quality standards with partners without direct disciplinary authority
Ability to identify optimization and AI opportunities and articulate them to technical teams
Strong networking and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence or complex production systems such as SAP
Fluent German and English, including strong negotiation skills
Independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style
Entrepreneurial mindset and high degree of self-motivation
