About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings
  • Design and manage job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies
  • Make expert recommendations to help manage onboarding and the new hire process
  • Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
  • Help manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process
  • Ensure screening, hiring, and selection comply with employment laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and/or the People & Culture team during the offer process
  • Recommend salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent offer details
  • Determine and lead participation in recruiting and career fairs
  • Work with Sciens marketing to develop branded signage and other event materials
  • Manage relationships with external recruiting firms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
  • Two to five years of recruiting experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
  • Experience in hosting career fairs and demonstrated ability to effectively attract key talent
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable making decisions independently
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems
  • Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations in multiple states
  • Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
  • Ability to occasionally travel by air and/or ground overnight, as necessary
