About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Standardize deliverables, project management approach, and internal SOWs for all projects
  • Implement project standards to improve Revenue Cycle Services resource efficiency
  • Define project best practices and processes to ensure important activities affecting expectations and quality are not omitted
  • Ensure project assumptions and constraints, including deadlines, resources, technology, and technological advances, are met
  • Present project alternatives and implications for budget and schedule to manage expectations
  • Ensure Revenue Cycle Services and SCP Health resources accurately document time allocation to projects, particularly capitalized projects
  • Manage all phases of Revenue Cycle Services projects and programs
  • Create and assist with project plans and internal scope of work proposals
  • Execute process improvement projects
  • Manage implementation of technology solutions to meet or exceed project goals
  • Manage customer projects to meet deadlines, budget, resource, expectation, and specification requirements
  • Coordinate and report projects to executive project sponsors
  • Provide weekly updates to the Director, RCS Project Management Office
  • Provide executive-level reports in RCS PMO Steering Committee meetings
  • Manage multiple projects and coordinate communications across staff, leadership, SCP Health, RCS, and external vendors
  • Escalate project risks or issues to the Director, RCS Project Management Office
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or another related field
  • 3–5 plus years leading small- and large-scale projects in Revenue Cycle Services, Healthcare, preferably with Revenue Cycle Systems, or Healthcare IT Organization
  • Experience working with Iterative Software Development Methodologies
  • Experience with Agile and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) methodologies
  • Experience managing a program of projects and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience presenting to C-Suite level executives
  • PMI PMP certification desired/strongly desired but not required
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent team player
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Outstanding consensus building abilities
  • Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint desirable
  • Experience with Smartsheet Platform desirable
  • Continuous oral and written communication and listening skills
  • Continuous computer use
  • Ability to occasionally bend, kneel, lift, pull, and push up to 10 pounds
  • High level of mental awareness and emotional intelligence
