About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and develop the QA team through coaching, clear expectations, actionable feedback, performance management, and career growth support
- Own the QA roadmap and prioritize testing and tooling around customer impact while balancing release speed with reliability
- Lead quality through enterprise rollouts with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success
- Define release readiness, surface risks early, and navigate deployment issues
- Build repeatable capabilities for recreating customer environments, isolating failures, validating fixes, and preventing regressions
- Improve testing through exploratory testing, targeted automation, and engineering-owned coverage
- Address risks in performance, session persistence, authentication, and capture correctness
- Communicate evidence, uncertainty, and next steps to technical and nontechnical stakeholders, including customers
- Help enterprise customers confidently roll out Workflow Mapping
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience managing QA engineers and driving meaningful improvements in quality at a high-growth technology company
- Strong record of coaching people, managing performance, and building an ownership-oriented team
- Experience recreating customer environments to reproduce difficult issues and verify fixes before release
- Ability to turn product and customer risks into a practical QA strategy, with clear priorities and evidence of results
- Comfort leading conversations outside engineering, aligning stakeholders, and explaining technical trade-offs to customers
- Sound technical judgment and ability to stay close to technical work
- Ability to handle ambiguity, investigate further, escalate risks, or move releases forward
- Experience with desktop apps, browser extensions, enterprise device management, security software, or authentication especially relevant
- Experience leading a distributed team valuable
- Permanently based in the United States; Eastern Time Zone preferred
