About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the monthly consolidation and reporting process
- Review reported figures for consistency
- Help resolve intercompany reconciliation differences
- Support maintenance and further development of consolidation tools
- Help monitor Group compliance with IFRS
- Support preparation and updating of Group finance policies
- Assist with periodic compliance reviews
- Prepare financial analyses and presentations for management decision-making
- Collaborate with finance colleagues across the Group on consolidation, reporting and finance topics
- Report to the Consolidation Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Around 3 years of experience in external audit or a similar financial accounting role
- Previous exposure to consolidation is an advantage
- Basic understanding of IFRS and interest in developing practical IFRS knowledge
- Interest in finance tools and willingness to learn consolidation software
- Experience with Tagetik is a plus
- Interest in financial processes, risks and internal controls, ideally gained through audit experience
- Comfortable working with finance teams across different countries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good Excel skills and motivation to develop them further
- Accurate working style and professional scepticism
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
