About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work with the SeatGeek design team and product managers to bring AI-powered features to life
Mentor and grow web engineers across the organization
Remain on the cutting edge of AI feature development and tool use
Contribute to the maturity of the front-end technology strategy and stack, with a focus on generative AI
Build user interfaces using modern web technologies and help create inclusive, accessible experiences
Architect for performance and maintainability
Troubleshoot caching inefficiencies and distributed systems in dynamic web applications

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional experience in frontend software engineering, having led product initiatives end-to-end in recent years, preferably with user-facing AI
Exceptional grasp of TypeScript/JavaScript
Familiarity with at least one modern framework and client-side rendering technique
UI and product instincts, including building inclusive and accessible experiences
Ability to optimize architecture and performance, troubleshoot distributed systems, and use monitoring and testing to evaluate changes
Comfort working full stack in Python when needed
Some experience with design tools such as Figma or Sketch
Experience, skills, and approach to problem solving; specific stack experience is not required
