About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create, modify, and update system jobs, schedules, and procedures
  • Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and software solutions throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Determine the best application solutions given requirements
  • Perform system analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
  • Identify improvements in existing code and implement them
  • Facilitate effective use of computerized information systems
  • Monitor application bandwidth utilization, performance, and stability
  • Provide application security meeting Credit Union needs and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain written and operating procedures
  • Analyze projects and propose automation, data integration, and operational improvements to IT management
  • Automate and improve business processes with limited guidance
  • Participate in defining the team technology roadmap and vision
  • Install, test, and maintain Core-related application software, including upgrades, patches, and critical fixes
  • Support cross-functional business needs
  • Troubleshoot server and application issues
  • Meet deadlines and project deliverables
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships across the organization
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Fiserv DNA
  • Two (2)+ years’ experience in IT profession
  • Two (2)+ years financial institution experience
  • Two (2)+ years work related skill, knowledge, experience working with Fiserv DNA and Nautilus
  • Two (2)+ years of hands-on experience administering DNA core system & automation system or related job automation system
  • One (1)+ year direct experience as an application analyst or equivalent
  • Advanced knowledge of Fiserv products
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Intermediate Oracle experience preferred
  • Intermediate SQL experience preferred
  • Proficient with .NET, C#, PowerShell, Python preferred
  • Understanding of relational and non-relational data modeling and data analysis preferred
  • Intermediate experience with SOLID design principles, Object-Oriented Programming and Design preferred
  • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
