About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business needs, gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications
  • Communicate and clarify solution requirements, functionality, and design decisions with business owners, project managers, software developers, and other stakeholders
  • Work through the complete IT delivery lifecycle, including estimation, solution design, development support, documentation, testing, deployment, release, and post-release verification
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of data loading processes, data models, WebFOCUS reports, and reporting solutions
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and drive continuous improvements
  • Actively participate in Delivery Team sprints, collaborate with team members, and contribute to sprint goals
  • Transform raw data from data warehouses into meaningful information, BI dashboards, and reports
  • Contribute to BI solutions from idea to production to support data-driven decisions across SEB

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Effective communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to clarify and challenge requirements when needed
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to understand both detailed requirements and the bigger picture
  • Experience translating business needs into technical or data-related solutions
  • A proactive and responsible approach, with the ability to take ownership and drive tasks forward
  • Solid SQL skills and the ability to work directly with data
  • Good understanding of data warehousing principles, data structures, schemas, and data modelling concepts
  • Hands-on experience in an IT development environment, with a clear understanding of how software and data solutions move from requirements to production
  • Good written and spoken English for collaboration across the Baltics
  • Experience with Sybase IQ and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with TIBCO WebFOCUS BI platform
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Experience with Collibra
  • Experience with GIT / Bitbucket
