About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Govern the value stream as part of a cross-functional working group
- Help develop product strategy and roadmap and support strategic value-stream goals
- Own end-to-end product delivery plans across the value stream and teams
- Drive the Opportunity-to-Solution pipeline from discovery through iterative market delivery
- Champion effective and risk-aware use of AI across the delivery lifecycle
- Chair working group and bridge crew meetings and follow up on assigned outcomes
- Provide data-driven status reporting and forecasting on solution development, cost and delivery
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, actions and decisions across teams and value streams
- Monitor and improve flow using flow metrics and remove impediments
- Maintain Jira projects and enable visibility from Opportunity to Story
- Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering on iterative, prioritised and appropriately sized work
- Coach teams toward autonomy and continuous improvement in agile practices
- Support less mature teams with agile ceremonies including retrospectives, dailies and sprint planning
- Promote product orientation and communication across disciplines
- Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery and product development processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least three years' experience in a product and technology delivery role of some kind
- Profit-centre thinking, with business and product focus and understanding of technology and engineering constraints
- Hands-on approach and willingness to act as a project manager when needed
- Strong communication skills and ability to bridge business stakeholders, product and engineering
- Confidence engaging business stakeholders up to and including Executive level
- Solid understanding of agile methods and best practice across the value stream
- Methodical and organised, with attention to detail and ability to plan complex initiatives
- High-level working knowledge of software development, technology and high-throughput, AI-enabled SDLC
- Ability to help teams manage and mitigate AI-driven cognitive overload
