About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Engage directly with founders and decision-makers at innovative UK startups
  • Identify the right fundraising product and strategy to meet startup goals
  • Build towards managing a 100+ pipeline of startups
  • Prioritise leads, maintain timely and professional communication, and progress deals through the sales cycle
  • Follow the sales process and CRM discipline rigorously
  • Keep records up to date, log every interaction, and use data to manage the pipeline
  • Listen actively, ask the right questions, understand startup needs, and demonstrate how SeedLegals can support them
  • Help founders understand seed rounds, SEIS/EIS, and early-stage investment documentation
  • Receive training on options and equity products and advise on the full platform over time
  • Build positive relationships from initial enquiry through onboarding and first purchase
  • Develop knowledge of the UK startup and fundraising landscape through training, team calls, and founder/investor exposure
  • Share ideas and feedback on the product, sales process, and customer experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ambitious and hungry to build a career in sales
  • Some background or genuine interest in business, finance, or law
  • Self-starter who also enjoys working as part of a team
  • Excited by the idea of speaking with startup founders every day
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Enjoys building rapport and is naturally curious about people

  • Strong people skills, with the ability to listen, empathise, and engage

  • Previous sales experience is a plus, but not essential
