About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and evolve solution architectures for strategic projects
- Analyze business requirements from the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) division and translate them into technology solutions
- Develop and validate technical and functional architectures with local and global teams
- Collaborate with the architecture office in Spain to align technology standards and direction
- Assess security, performance, availability, scalability, and technology continuity
- Ensure secure, resilient implementations aligned with best practices
- Create, manage, and evolve enterprise-level macro architectures
- Identify opportunities for reusable components, services, and APIs
- Define, govern, and promote architectural standards and reusable enterprise components
- Produce technical and strategic architecture documentation
- Support technology teams and business areas in defining solutions
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in Solution Architecture and/or Enterprise Architecture
- Knowledge of software development and systems integration
- Experience with API-based and microservices architectures
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Experience defining architectural standards, governance, and technology best practices
- Knowledge of information security applied to solution architecture
- Ability to work in complex, multidisciplinary corporate environments
- English or Spanish proficiency for interaction with international teams
- Preferred: experience in the financial services sector, especially in Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) environments
- Preferred: knowledge of enterprise architecture and enterprise architecture frameworks
- Preferred: experience with digital transformation and application modernization
- Preferred: experience in global and multicultural environments
