About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Configure, enhance, and support Event Management, monitoring, and incident management processes in ServiceNow
- Integrate observability and monitoring tools with ServiceNow, CMDB, and New Relic
- Implement event correlation, deduplication, prioritization, and enrichment rules
- Automate the incident lifecycle based on alerts and events
- Reduce false positives, redundant alerts, and operational noise
- Develop dashboards, reports, and operational metrics, including MTTA and MTTR
- Support the continuous improvement of observability, event management, and incident management processes
- Ensure the quality of integrations, CMDB data, and automation workflows
- Partner with infrastructure, operations, SRE, development, and support teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with the ServiceNow platform, particularly Incident Management, Event Management, CMDB, and ITOM
- Knowledge of integrating monitoring and observability tools through REST APIs, webhooks, and connectors
- Experience with or knowledge of New Relic
- Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and event management
- Strong understanding of ITIL concepts and practices
- Knowledge of REST- and JSON-based integrations
- Experience automating processes and operational workflows
- Ability to analyze events, incidents, and metrics to propose operational improvements
