About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver tailored classroom and virtual employability and personal development training
  • Facilitate engaging sessions developing Participants’ employability skills
  • Deliver training solutions addressing varied Participant needs and supporting progression
  • Identify training requirements of individuals and employers and collaborate with content developers on new provision
  • Meet personal performance targets and quality and compliance measures
  • Deliver mock interviews, work-preparation activities and sector-specific training
  • Work with the Employer Relationship Team and stakeholders on employer-related events
  • Prepare Participants for specific employment opportunities, including sector-based courses and routeways
  • Select facilitation methods and activities for individual and group needs
  • Maintain high delivery standards through self-evaluation, training and peer observations
  • Promote courses and support Employment Advisers in attracting and booking Participants
  • Support Participant action plans toward suitable and sustainable employment
  • Use appropriate digital technologies while maintaining privacy and confidentiality
  • Design and host train-the-trainer sessions for operational teams
  • Contribute to corporate training, employee induction and training
  • Undertake risk assessments for training activities and venues
  • Maintain accurate and compliant customer training records
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Handle personal data according to data protection policy
  • Promote safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Undertake other appropriate duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent understanding of the barriers unemployed job seekers face in obtaining a new job
  • Knowledge of the employability industry and delivering employability skills and personal development training programmes
  • Experience of delivering and developing training programmes face to face and/or remotely using several digital technologies
  • Experience of deploying motivational strategies to develop individuals
  • Fully IT literate in Microsoft Office 365 and modern digital technologies, including Microsoft Teams
  • Experience delivering in a high-performance target-driven culture (desirable)
  • Award in Education and Training Level 3 (formerly PTLLS) or Certificate in Education and Training Level 4 (formerly CTLLS) (desirable)
  • Experience delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards (desirable)
  • Experience analysing and reporting on training needs and delivery using IT systems (desirable)
  • Full driving licence (desirable)
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including necessary travel and overnight stays
  • Commitment to safeguarding, Prevent, equality, diversity and inclusion, quality, health and safety, IT and data protection policies
