About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Achieve delivery targets, personal performance targets, KPIs, and quality and compliance measures
- Manage a caseload of referred customers with learning disabilities and help overcome employment barriers
- Provide specialist, person-centred advice, guidance, and support
- Undertake in-depth assessments of customers’ circumstances, preferences, and barriers to employment
- Achieve required customer service and quality standards
- Co-produce personalised SMART action plans
- Coordinate support from local specialist services and use social prescribing
- Work with multiple agencies and conduct case conferences with customer consent
- Market directly to employers through email, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and other digital channels
- Identify employer recruitment needs and conduct tailored pre-screens and group assessments
- Create in-work support plans with participants and employers
- Provide practical transition-to-work support and facilitate job carving opportunities
- Promote and report workplace health and safety
- Develop knowledge of local specialist signposting services
- Maintain IT files and customer records to compliance and quality standards
- Work from local hubs and community outreach locations to improve service accessibility
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge or experience of employer needs and employer engagement
- Experience of working in a target driven environment
- Good working knowledge of the local labour market in the specified geographical locations
- Experience of working with people with multiple and complex needs, particularly those with learning disabilities
- Fully IT literate, including Microsoft Office 365 and modern digital technologies such as Microsoft Teams
- Experience of delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards
- Knowledge of the employability industry and/or recruitment industry (desirable)
- Understanding of Supported Employment Opportunities and associated frameworks (IPS/SEQF) (desirable)
- Experience of working with people in advice and guidance environments (desirable)
- Full driving licence to enable deployment across a specified geographical area when required (desirable)
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults
- Depending on the role, may be required to complete a DBS/DS check
