About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the India GTM leadership mandate and translate global business priorities into a clear India strategy, operating model, and execution plan.
  • Partner with the India Managing Director / President, CRO, and global GTM leaders to align India capability with global customer, revenue, retention, and growth priorities.
  • Lead and develop India-based GTM leaders across Services, Solution Consulting, Customer Success, Renewals, Implementation, TAM, Project Management, and adjacent functions.
  • Build a scalable leadership structure and operating rhythm that supports current priorities while preparing the organization for future expansion.
  • Create accountability across capacity planning, delivery readiness, customer outcomes, retention, renewal execution, operational health, and talent development.
  • Establish governance mechanisms across global and India teams to improve decision-making, escalation management, cross-functional alignment, and business visibility.
  • Drive collaboration across Customer Success, Renewals, Services, Solution Consulting, Support, Product, Engineering, Finance, People, and other partner functions.
  • Develop senior leaders and build a strong internal succession pipeline for India GTM leadership roles.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, customer experience, and operating leverage through process improvement, technology, automation, and AI adoption.
  • Represent India GTM priorities with executive stakeholders and serve as a senior escalation point for critical customer, talent, and operational matters.
  • Shape a high-performance culture grounded in customer impact, commercial judgment, ownership, inclusion, and global collaboration.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 20+ years of progressive leadership experience, including executive level leadership across GTM, Customer Success, Services, Renewals, Solution Consulting, Support, Sales, or related customer-facing functions.
  • Significant experience building and scaling multi-function customer-facing organizations in India within a global enterprise SaaS, B2B software, or technology product company.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a US-headquartered, global, matrixed organization with senior stakeholders across geographies and functions.
  • Strong understanding of recurring revenue models, customer lifecycle management, retention, renewals, adoption, value realization, and customer growth levers.
  • Proven track record of developing senior leaders, building leadership bench strength, and designing scalable operating models.
  • Strong commercial judgment, data-driven decision-making, and ability to connect customer, talent, operational, and financial priorities.
  • Executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence CRO, President, MD, functional executives, and cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to bring clarity, pace, and disciplined execution in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline required.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience leading or partnering closely with global Customer Success, Services, Solution Consulting, Renewals, or Support organizations.
  • Experience scaling an India center from early or mid-stage maturity into a strategic global capability hub.
  • Exposure to executive-level workforce planning, location strategy, customer delivery models, and leadership hiring.
  • Experience improving operating leverage through process design, tooling, automation, AI, or shared operating rhythms.
