About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute projects to implement Information Security solutions, from gathering technical requirements through configuration, acceptance testing, and delivery
Configure, parameterize, integrate, and perform acceptance testing for security solutions according to each project’s scope and requirements
Implement solutions such as EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, firewalls, WAF, endpoint security, and other cybersecurity technologies
Troubleshoot during implementations, identifying issues and engaging vendors or specialist teams when necessary
Track schedules, activities, outstanding items, risks, and deliverables for assigned projects
Manage and monitor implementation-related support tickets
Prepare and maintain technical documents, procedures, evidence, implementation reports, checklists, and handover documentation
Participate in technical and status meetings with clients, internal teams, and vendors
Support Security, Infrastructure, Network, and SOC teams during integrations and the implementation of new solutions
Support the technical oversight of projects, ensuring alignment of activities, timelines, and agreed deliverables

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Networks, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Professional experience in Information Security, Infrastructure, Networking, or the implementation of technology solutions
Experience implementing, configuring, or integrating Information Security solutions
Experience participating in or leading technical projects and engaging with clients, internal teams, and/or vendors
Solid knowledge of Information Security fundamentals, networking, and corporate infrastructure environments
Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, SMTP, VPNs, and VLANs
Knowledge of firewalls, access control, endpoint security, and corporate environment protection
Knowledge of EDR/XDR and endpoint protection solutions
Knowledge of vulnerability management solutions such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or similar platforms
Knowledge of firewalls and network security solutions such as Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, or similar platforms
Knowledge of WAF, proxies, VPNs, Zero Trust, and access security
Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, particularly in relation to security
Ability to troubleshoot, perform technical analysis, and document completed activities
Knowledge of ITSM tools
Ability to independently track schedules, activities, risks, outstanding items, and deliverables
Preferred: experience implementing cybersecurity solutions in client environments
Preferred: hands-on experience with Fortinet, Qualys, Microsoft Security, Cloudflare, Tenable, Rapid7, or similar technologies
Preferred: knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
Preferred: knowledge of automation using PowerShell, Python, APIs, or Low-Code/No-Code tools
Preferred: knowledge of cloud environments and security in Azure, AWS, or GCP
Preferred: intermediate Spanish proficiency for interaction in professional and technical contexts
Preferred: certifications or training such as Fortinet FCF/FCA, Microsoft SC-900, SC-200, AZ-900, Qualys Certified Specialist, CompTIA Security+, or ITIL Foundation
Preferred: certifications or training related to Cloudflare, Microsoft Security, vulnerability management, networking, or other Information Security technologies
