Key responsibilities & impact

Manage a portfolio of 15–25 concurrent implementation projects
Gather and analyze business requirements for EDI integration projects
Translate client needs into technical specifications
Design and implement EDI data mappings and transformations
Troubleshoot and resolve EDI transmission and processing errors
Serve as an externally facing professional representing Self Bill Pro
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners, including clients and carriers
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for EDI integrations
Monitor and optimize EDI processes for efficiency and performance
Stay current on EDI, API integration, and benefits administration trends and best practices
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, brokers, and carrier partners
Anticipate client needs and deliver a high-quality implementation experience
Provide reliable support throughout the project lifecycle
Communicate clear, timely, and specific project status updates

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years managing a portfolio of concurrent projects with internal and external stakeholders
5+ years in a client-facing role owning client relationships end to end
Demonstrated ability to independently navigate difficult client conversations and resolve escalated issues
5+ years of experience in EDI and/or API implementation and support, preferably within the benefits administration industry
Strong customer service orientation and proactive approach to owning and resolving client issues
Understanding of fixed-width file formats and preferably LDEx XML file format
Familiarity with benefit administration platforms such as ADP Workforce Now, Workday, or bswift and/or insurance carrier systems is a plus
Experience with or strong interest in data mapping and transformation tools
Comfort with or interest in analyzing and manipulating data using Microsoft Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Strong analytical abilities to diagnose issues and develop effective solutions
Track record of building strong, lasting client relationships
Strong track record of clear, confident communication with clients regarding project timelines and status
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Must be currently residing within the United States
Must not require employer sponsorship to obtain or maintain visa authorization to work in the United States
