About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the efficient management of the company’s civil and consumer litigation matters
- Ensure compliance with court-ordered obligations and the proper execution of litigation strategies
- Provide legal support to business areas
- Manage portfolios of high-volume civil and consumer litigation matters in coordination with external law firms
- Monitor settlements, appeals, court-ordered payments, and compliance with procedural obligations
- Support the development of legal strategies and defense arguments
- Track and update case information in legal management systems
- Provide support for matters involving Procon and the company’s internal departments
- Contribute to risk mitigation, business continuity, and the continuous improvement of internal processes
- Provide coverage during the department leadership’s maternity leave
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Law and active membership in the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- Experience in civil and/or consumer litigation
- Experience with high-volume litigation and portfolio management
- Familiarity with court systems, such as PJe, e-SAJ, Projudi, DJE, or similar platforms
- Experience using legal management software
- Postgraduate degree in Civil Law, Civil Procedure, or Consumer Law (preferred, not required)
- Familiarity with Themis or Brainlaw systems (preferred, not required)
- Experience working at companies handling a high volume of consumer-related claims (preferred, not required)
- Experience managing external law firms (preferred, not required)
- Intermediate Excel skills for tracking and monitoring performance indicators (preferred, not required)
