About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, review, and implement credit policies and strategies
  • Monitor portfolio performance indicators and analyze risk trends
  • Conduct customer behavior studies and statistical analyses to support decision-making
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and executive presentations for leadership
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, process automation, and the enhancement of credit decision engines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience in credit analysis, credit risk, or credit policy
  • Knowledge of risk indicators, portfolio management, and quantitative analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of SQL, SAS, Python, or similar data analysis tools
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic vision, and the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Experience developing and monitoring decision engines (preferred, but not required)
  • Experience with automation and operational efficiency projects (preferred, but not required)
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling applied to credit (preferred, but not required)
  • Experience preparing executive presentations for senior leadership (preferred, but not required)
  • Experience working in financial institutions, fintechs, or credit companies (preferred, but not required)
