About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for Software Engineering positions across all levels
  • Partner with Engineering leaders and hiring managers to define technical requirements, candidate profiles, and recruiting strategies
  • Source and engage passive Software Engineering candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, referrals, sourcing platforms, and technical communities
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical, specialized, and hard-to-fill positions
  • Maintain knowledge of engineering teams, technologies, technical requirements, career levels, and Software Engineering talent trends
  • Conduct candidate screenings and interviews
  • Coordinate interviews, candidate communication, scheduling, feedback collection, debriefs, and offer coordination
  • Maintain accurate candidate records, recruiting activity, and reporting in the applicant tracking system
  • Write and optimize technical job postings and recruiting outreach content
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies and talent maps
  • Advise Engineering leaders and hiring managers on talent markets, candidate availability, compensation insights, interviewing practices, and hiring strategies
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on process improvements, sourcing strategies, tools, and initiatives
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, a technical discipline, or a related field
  • 5+ years of full-cycle Talent Acquisition or Recruiting experience, including significant experience recruiting Software Engineering and highly technical positions
  • Experience recruiting Software Engineering talent across multiple disciplines and levels, including Frontend, Backend, Full Stack, Platform, Infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, Quality/SDET, Data, senior, staff, principal, and leadership positions
  • Demonstrated experience proactively sourcing and engaging passive technical candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, sourcing platforms, and other recruiting tools
  • Strong understanding of Software Engineering roles, technical skill sets, terminology, and career levels
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
  • Experience partnering directly with Engineering leaders and hiring managers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and technical searches
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting software; Paylocity experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments, teams, and locations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • 7+ years of Talent Acquisition or Recruiting experience preferred
  • Experience developing talent maps and sourcing strategies for specialized technical positions preferred
  • Experience recruiting within a high-growth technology, software, manufacturing technology, or product-driven organization preferred
  • Experience using recruiting data and pipeline metrics preferred
  • Knowledge of employment laws, recruiting best practices, and structured interviewing techniques preferred
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to use a computer, phone, and standard office equipment for remote work
