About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, execute, and optimize a comprehensive annual giving program
- Grow unrestricted revenue and build a sustainable pipeline of future major and planned giving donors
- Secure Annual Fund and mid-level gifts of $10,000 or less
- Manage and cultivate a portfolio of annual and mid-level donors
- Develop and implement multi-channel annual giving plans and appeal strategies across direct mail, email, digital, social, and events
- Lead End of Year giving, Giving Tuesday, monthly giving appeals, special appeals, and rapid response campaigns
- Build data-driven, segmented campaigns for new, renewing, mid-level, upgrade, and lapsed donors
- Set revenue, acquisition, retention, upgrade, engagement, and qualitative goals
- Analyze and report program KPIs and metrics
- Design and implement Moves management strategies for annual and mid-level donors
- Track campaigns in Raiser’s Edge and adjust strategies in real time
- Produce reports and analytics to replicate and improve successful solicitation campaigns
- Partner with the Major Gifts team to transition qualified donors for individualized relationship management
- Partner with the Donor Relations Coordinator to design and manage donor giving societies, including the monthly giving program
- Develop and implement stewardship plans and meaningful communications to improve donor experience and retention
- Support Seneca’s mission serving marginalized communities through mental health, community-based, and educational services
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive fundraising experience with focus on annual giving
- Alignment with and passion for Seneca’s mission and values
- Ability to articulate Seneca’s role in providing youth and families Unconditional Care and its relevance to donors
- Strong knowledge of fundraising best practices, trends, and donor engagement strategies
- Ability to engage with donors, executives, board of directors, and community boards
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies' insurance policy
- TB test clearance
- Fingerprint clearance
- Any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
- CFRE credential preferred
- Experience building mid-level or pipeline fundraising programs preferred
- Experience integrating fundraising with program impact reporting and producing compelling annual fund and mid-level appeals preferred
- Strategic thinking ability to align philanthropic goals with mission and outcomes
- Advanced analytical and strategic planning skills
- Strong CRM and segmentation expertise, including Raiser’s Edge and Salesforce
- Experience creating and managing multi-channel fundraising campaigns for an organization of comparable size
- Problem-solving mindset and diplomatic communication skills
