About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deploy and install Command-specific dashboards at Air Force installations, modifying them for local requirements
- Oversee daily sustainment and updates of dashboard capabilities
- Integrate multiple data sources and maintain existing FMFO products
- Provide advanced user support and troubleshoot dashboard and Power BI tools
- Conduct installation-user training and update training materials
- Mentor junior team members
- Gather, analyze, and document user feedback
- Support data extraction, validation, and integration to ensure accurate financial information
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, security requirements, and government policies
- Prepare presentations, reports, and user guides for technical and non-technical audiences
- Contribute to process improvements and recommend dashboard and user-experience enhancements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial management, data analytics, or dashboard support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI or similar data visualization tools
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Demonstrated customer service and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with some leadership or mentoring experience
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Willingness to travel to Air Force installations as required (30%)
- U.S. Secret security clearance, requiring US Citizenship
- Bachelor’s Degree is desired
- Experience in DoD FM processes and procedures for posting accounting entries is desired
- Familiarity with AF Lines of Accounting and financial data elements is desired
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Azure, or Highbond is desired
