Key responsibilities & impact

Build backend infrastructure for an AI security product focused on monitoring AI assets, assessing risks, and delivering actionable insights
Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs
Implement and optimize database schemas, queries, and data storage solutions
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
Implement security and data protection measures
Work with AWS, Azure, or GCP to deploy and manage backend services
Contribute to microservices architecture
Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and industry best practices
Enforce security policies and ensure safe, compliant AI deployment

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of backend development experience in Node.js and TypeScript
Experience with database management
Experience developing and integrating APIs, including designing and building RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus
Experience designing and implementing microservices
Experience with scalability and performance optimization, including caching strategies, message queues, and large-scale, distributed architectures
Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms
Strong problem-solving skills
Communication and collaboration skills
