About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join SEON’s small, rapidly growing Global legal team and report directly to the VP, General Counsel
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements in line with business and legal requirements
- Work with the People team on employment agreements, policies, and issues under Hungarian law
- Provide practical legal guidance to cross-functional teams across the organization
- Support improvements to legal processes, systems, and tools
- Supervise outside counsel and other legal support vendors
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders and improve responsiveness and service delivery
- Collaborate with Revenue, People, Compliance, Finance, and Product teams across multiple regions, with a focus on European operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- A degree in law from an accredited Hungarian university
- Prior legal experience in SaaS technology or a law firm is a plus; recent graduates with strong academic performance and/or relevant internships are welcome
- Fluent English on a professional level
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic company environment
- Willingness to take active ownership of tasks and processes
- Commitment to providing efficient, high-quality service to internal customers
- Working knowledge of and interest in leveraging AI capabilities
- Experience or familiarity with GDPR, data protection, and privacy law and regulation is a plus
- Relevant international or cross-border experience is a plus
- Legally authorized to work in Hungary without employer sponsorship
