About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review, audit, and manage transaction files to ensure compliance with brokerage and state-specific requirements
  • Maintain accuracy across all deal stages and transaction workflows
  • Identify and resolve missing or incorrect documentation that may delay closing or commission processing
  • Complete compliance reviews within SkySlope
  • Apply company policies, regional requirements, and escalation paths, including Broker of Record involvement
  • Queue, review, and process commissions accurately
  • Audit commission structures, including splits, referral fees, transaction fees, and co-broke agreements
  • Identify discrepancies such as missing splits, deposit mismatches, and incorrect GCI calculations
  • Validate commission data against compliance documentation and financial records
  • Generate CDAs, support escrow release processes, and ensure payment readiness
  • Support agents on transaction status, submissions, and payment timelines
  • Communicate with agents to resolve outstanding items required to close transactions
  • Manage and respond to a shared inbox and route inquiries across internal teams
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Total Brokerage and SkySlope
  • Maintain detailed transaction records and document communications and escalations
  • Use internal tools such as deposit logs to investigate pending funds and discrepancies
  • Manage a high volume of transactions across multiple stages
  • Self-prioritize tasks and operate independently with minimal oversight
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement scalable improvements
  • Collaborate with Agent Finance, Accounting, and Brokerage Operations
  • Support training and knowledge-sharing initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience processing real estate transactions.
  • SkySlope experience preferred.
  • Experience with real estate transactions in Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, New England, and Virginia
  • Real Estate license a plus.
  • Preference given to candidates based in Eastern and Central time zones.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in auditing documents and financial data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of customer service and responsiveness
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to evolving processes
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive results
  • Candidates must live within the United States.
  • Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
