About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install and configure new PCs and laptops
Perform hardware and software break/fix work, including upgrades
Develop expert understanding of PC hardware, software, internal software, and associated technologies
Diagnose and resolve end-user problems through recognition, isolation, research, and resolution of software/hardware errors
Execute planned and unplanned infrastructure downtime activities
Assist in maintaining LAN/WAN infrastructure
Monitor infrastructure to identify and resolve issues
Respond to escalated end-user issues
Participate in maintenance activities to ensure infrastructure equipment health and availability
Provide problem analysis and support for escalation during outages or degraded infrastructure performance
Move employee equipment
Organize and maintain equipment inventory levels
Analyze and evaluate PC hardware and software
Support desktop-related technologies, including copiers, scanners, and printers
Assist with purchase order activity
Provide support using available tools, including remote control technologies
Understudy infrastructure technology disciplines and apply learning under supervision
Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Technical Associates degree or equivalent preferred
2-3 years of relevant technical work experience
Experience in a Windows 11 and Mac OS X environment
Experience with Office 365 and above
Experience with multiple hardware platforms
Experience with iOS and Android mobile platforms
Certifications a plus (A+ or other)
Effective problem-solving skills
Customer service skills
Detail oriented
Sound analytical skills
Ability to multitask
Collaborative/enjoys working in teams
Highly productive in a fast paced environment
Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
Must be located within reasonable commuting distance and willing and able to work in-office daily
Ability to frequently lift, carry, or otherwise move and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds
