About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee residential and commercial projects involving fire, water, mold, and natural disasters
- Develop relationships to build and grow accounts
- Manage projects from start to finish with an assigned Construction Superintendent
- Manage contractors
- Provide repair and restoration estimates for project leads
- Lead communication between customers and insurance providers
- Monitor and control construction to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Evaluate construction progress and team performance
- Manage financial aspects of repair and restoration projects
- Identify potential legal problems and litigation and review them with the Branch Manager and Construction Superintendent
- Oversee project close-out
- Represent the company in project meetings
- Provide technical assistance and support to project team members
- Identify new work opportunities and inform Sales and Marketing
- Lead internal teams focused on continuous business improvement
- Promote client, subcontractor, and vendor relationships
- Apply relevant policies and processes
- Proactively identify and solve problems to minimize risk
Requirements
What you’ll need- Insurance estimating experience
- Ability to write scopes in Xactimate
- Attention to detail
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- 2–3 years of experience in disaster restoration
- Proven ability in writing scopes using Xactimate
- Willingness to live in the Wichita City area or relocate to Kansas
