About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain relationships with insurance agents, brokers, property managers, facility managers, and commercial property owners
- Identify and pursue new commercial restoration opportunities
- Generate business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and scheduled client visits
- Promote emergency restoration services, including water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, storm damage, and reconstruction
- Conduct regular in-person visits with existing and prospective referral partners
- Schedule and participate in client meetings, presentations, networking events, and educational lunches
- Maintain consistent communication with referral sources to strengthen relationships and increase business opportunities
- Track leads, contacts, follow-ups, and sales activities using the company’s CRM platform
- Collaborate with operations and project management teams to ensure a positive customer experience
- Work toward established sales goals and business development targets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience in outside sales, business development, or account management preferred
- Experience in disaster restoration, insurance, property management, construction, or related industries is a plus
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Basic understanding of CRM software, including entering contacts, tracking sales activities, scheduling follow-ups, and managing leads
- Ability to work independently, manage a schedule, and consistently follow up with prospective clients
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable meeting with insurance agents, commercial clients, and business owners
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
- Restoration industry experience is preferred but not required
- Proven ability to develop relationships and generate business
